LEGENDS: I_AM_GOD_666_

Recuerdo allá en el Brotherhood, cuando sólo llevabamos unas semanas jugando y apenas conseguíamos quedar penúltimos en las partidas, había un nombre que se nos grabó a fuego: I_AM_GOD_666_. Cuando este ID entraba, simplemente arrasaba. Lo ganaba todo y era intocable.
Al principio siempre nos entristecía enfrentarnos a él porque sabíamos que iba a ser una derrota y una humillación. Pero poco a poco, aunque nosotros no mejorararmos, nos fue picando la curiosidad y queríamos coincidir una y otra vez con él para aprender, para ver sus reacciones y estrategias, para disfrutar de los buenos jugadores del Animus.
Por supuesto, había otros jugadores muy buenos y quizás incluso mejores que I_AM_GOD_666_, pero supongo que como en el marketing, hace falta tener un conjunto de características para hacer que un producto triunfe, y él las tuvo. Una manera de jugar poderosa y un nombre que le hacía justicia.
Su paso a Revelations fue igual de triunfante. Aunque ya en tierras otomanas había miles de usuarios más, él mantuvo su status de jugador top en Cacería y Asesinato.
Estos dos hechos, su nivel y ese aumento de afluencia también jugaron en su contra. Comenzaron a aparecer rumores y vídeos de como hacía trampas o boosteaba para conseguir una posición mejor en el ranking de puntuaciones. También hubo otros que afirmaron que hacía lag switch y de ahí su tremenda fuerza. Lo cierto es que las pruebas contra él, al menos en su gran mayoría, eran mentira. Otras como se pudo comprobar si que fueron ciertas y empañaron ligeramente la leyenda. Pero ninguna pudo hacer desaparecer lo que realmente fue: uno de los mejores en el Animus y un rival temible.
Quizás fue por esto por lo que empezó a utilizar otros IDs, para empezar de nuevo y alejarse de todos esos rumores. Entre ellos el más famoso fue el de Unholy_Preacher_, que se empezó a ver en los comienzos del AC3.
Lo cierto es que, con su nombre habitual o no, siempre ha sido de los jugadores más memorables de todo el universo multijugador de AC.
Con TTF ha jugado varios torneos, siendo el más importante la primera World Series de Cacería donde jugó para Malta y quedó campeón.


I remember in Brotherhood, when we had only a few weeks playing and we fought for being penultimate in the games, we had a name that was recorded at fire: I_AM_GOD_666_. When this ID entered, simply he swept. He won everything and was untouchable.
Initially we always were sad because we knew he would be defeat us. But gradually, although we were better, we wanted to match again and again against him to learn, to see their reactions and strategies, to enjoy the good players of the Animus.
Of course, there were other good players, maybe even better than I_AM_GOD_666_ but I guess as in marketing, you need to have a set of features to make a succesfull product, and he did. A powerful way to play and a name that did justice.
His time in Revelations was equally triumphant. Although in Ottoman lands were thousands of players more, he maintained his status as top player in Manhunt and Assassinate.
These two facts, that increase of affluence and his level, also played against him. It started rumors and videos showing him cheating or boosting to get a better position in the rankings of scores. There were others who said he did lag switch and that was his tremendous force. The truth is that the evidence against him, at least for the most part, were lies. Others as we noted whether they were true and slightly marred the legend. But none could do away with what it really was: one of the best in the Animus and a formidable rival.
Perhaps it was for this reason that began to use other IDs, to start again and get away from all these rumors. Among them the most famous was that of Unholy_Preacher_ in the early AC3.
The truth is that, with his usual name or not, has always been among the most memorable players around the multiplayer universe of AC.
