En el verano del 2012, cuando celebramos nuestro primer World Series, buscábamos un equipo que representara a los españoles en Asalto al Artefacto. Lógicamente, en aquel entonces éramos la única comunidad de AC en el mundo y recibimos cantidad de peticiones. Nuestra idea era darle cabida a todos y cada uno de los que se apuntasen para que todos los jugadores se sintieran participe de este eventos sin precedentes. No obstante, no estábamos satisfechos con el nivel ni la actitud de la gran mayoría.
Ahí apareció rai_bd.
El jugador mallorquín nos habló de un grupo de amigos fanáticos de Asalto que estaban mas que encantados con la idea de formar equipo. Y ahí nació la selección de España de Asalto al Artefacto.
Sandrita_93, juacho_92 y RobertoCarlos69 fueron los pilares de este proyecto. Personas que representaban todos los ideales y atributos que nosotros queríamos para los líderes de nuestro equipo nacional. Y lo hacían a la perfección. Jugadores competitivos, hábiles, honestos, humanos y con espíritu de equipo. Necesitábamos que consiguieran que muchas personas de un mismo país que jamás habían jugado juntas, que apenas se conocían, jugasen juntas limando posibles asperezas y que todos se sintiesen partes importantes del equipo. No sólo lo consiguieron, sino que superaron ampliamente nuestras expectativas.
En su primer torneo por selecciones en Revelations, quedó campeona mostrando un gran nivel. Jugadores como AlePlay17, javiiii1994 o Estela1312 formaron parte del equipo y dejando destellos de calidad durante cada encuentro.
Un año más tarde, cuando les tocaba defender título, no pasó de la fase de grupos. Pese a la derrota, mostró una verdadera deportividad y afán de superación. Admirable.
En el último torneo realizado en Black Flag Era, de nuevo consiguieron el título de campeones del mundo.
Defensa, rotación, concentración y magia definen a este equipo de leyenda. Una de las mejores ladronas del Animus, la gran Sandrita_93, apoyada por el infalible asesino RobertoCarlos69 y el cerebro y la genialidad de juancho_92 mostraban un base sólida y competitiva en todos los encuentros.
Una selección nacional cuyos triunfos siempre perdurarán en la historia.
In the summer of 2012, when we celebrated our first World Series, we were looking for a team to represent the Spanish in the Artifact Assault. Of course, back then we were the only AC community in the world and we had a great number of requests received. Our idea was to make room for each and every one of those who were pointing to all players feel part of this unprecedented event. However, we were not satisfied with the level and the attitude of the majority.
That appeared rai_bd.
The mallorcan player told us about a group of friends and Artifact Assault fans who were more than happy with the idea of teaming. And there was born the Spain National Team of the Artifact Assault.
Sandrita_93, juacho_92 and RobertoCarlos69 were the pillars of this project. People who represented all the ideals and attributes we wanted for the leaders of our national team. And they did to perfection. Competitive, skilled, honest, human and spirit of team players. We needed them to get that many players in a country that had never played together anf they barely knew each other, make a strong team. Not only they got it, but far exceeded our expectations.
In its first tournament in Revelations, it was showing a high level and they were champions. Players like AlePlay17, javiiii1994 or Estela1312 were part of the team and letting flashes of quality during each match.
A year later, when they defend title, they did not pass the group stage. Despite the defeat, they showed a true sportsmanship and desire to excel. Admirable.
